Moxy Hotels in New York City and Miami, owned by Lightstone, announced the promotion of Amy Birnbaum to Regional Director of Sales & Marketing. Birnbaum previously served as Sales Director at Moxy Williamsburg and will now oversee sales and marketing for Moxy Times Square, Moxy East Village, Moxy Chelsea, Moxy Lower East Side, Moxy Williamsburg, and Moxy South Beach.

A seasoned hospitality professional with over 15 years of experience, Birnbaum has spearheaded notable hotel portfolio launches including Moxy Williamsburg, The William Vale, The Hoxton, Langham, Chicago, and Wythe Hotel. Throughout her career, Birnbaum has brought her deep appreciation for thoughtful hotel design and inventive food and beverage concepts to each project, while developing a deep understanding of client needs and creating tailored experiences that connect guests and groups with the best venues, experiences, and offerings in each neighborhood. Her long-standing relationships with travel agencies and event planners have also been instrumental in driving sales, building strong partnerships and generating new business opportunities for the properties she represents.

Recognized for her strategic insight, operational excellence, and strong client engagement, Birnbaum consistently delivers outstanding results. Her deep understanding of the Moxy Hotels portfolio and its intersection of arts, culture, style, and culinary experiences has helped drive success across the collection. She is excited to continue contributing to the ongoing growth and success of each hotel.

“For the past four years, Amy has led sales at Moxy Williamsburg while supporting the broader Moxy NYC Cluster Sales team, driving group and transient business across the portfolio,” said Leo Glazer, Vice President, Operations for Moxy Hotels in New York City. “In this new role, she will oversee the sales and marketing strategy for a stellar portfolio of hotels in New York City and South Beach. We are excited to see her bring her love for genuine hospitality and elevated guest experiences to a wider stage.”
