Minor Hotels has signed Anantara Jadcherla Hyderabad Resort, a 37-acre waterfront development in Telangana scheduled to open in 2029.
Anantara Jadcherla Hyderabad Resort is planned outside Hyderabad in Telangana. Ashya Group is developing the project, its first hospitality project.
The site is about 60 minutes by road from Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, approximately 71 kilometers away. It is about 1½ hours by road from Hyderabad city center, approximately 90 kilometers away.
The resort is planned to include 185 keys, with guest rooms starting at 48 square meters. The development will include 47 pool villas ranging from 90 to 280 square meters.
Fifty branded residences are also planned adjacent to the resort on the reservoir.
The resort’s design will use stone construction and geometric patterning in public spaces and villas, referencing the architectural legacy of the Kakatiya Dynasty.
Food and beverage facilities are planned to include an all-day dining venue, two specialty restaurants, a wellness café, lobby lounge and poolside bar.
Planned leisure facilities include an Anantara Spa, fitness center, outdoor pool and kids’ club. The property will also include a ballroom, multiple breakout rooms and an event lawn for outdoor functions.
The project follows the 2025 opening of Anantara Jewel Bagh Jaipur Hotel, which introduced the Anantara Hotels & Resorts brand to India. Other projects announced in India include Anantara Zanti Coorg Resort and Anantara Kolkata Hotel, announced in April 2026, and Avani+ Sunray Beach Visakhapatnam Resort, announced in 2025.
Minor Hotels is working toward a target of 50 properties in India within the next decade.
