A brand-new comedy dinner theatre show featuring the music of ABBA!

Express Entertainers is hitting the road this fall with a brand-new dinner theatre production — and we’re looking for TWO talented actors to join the cast!

💒 THE SHOW
Take A Chance With Us is a hilarious wedding gone terribly, wonderfully wrong, packed with big personalities, romantic chaos, ridiculous situations, and the unforgettable music of ABBA.

We’re looking for:

👰 THE BRIDE
A strong Soprano with excellent comedic timing, stage presence, and the ability to bring a larger-than-life character to life.

🤵 THE GROOM
A strong Tenor with excellent comedic timing, stage presence, and the ability to play both the heart and the hilarity of our leading man.

Age range: Preferably 20s–40s
Location: Calgary, Alberta
Position: PAID acting contract
Tour: Alberta & Saskatchewan

✨ WHAT WE OFFER

● Travel throughout Alberta & Saskatchewan

🎭 REHEARSALS
Rehearsals will take place in Calgary over approximately three weeks:
Week 1 — Sept. 21–27
Week 2 — Sept. 28–Oct. 4
Week 3 — Oct. 5–9
Rehearsals will be 5 days a week and will have day and night time slots. We will do our best to work with actors to accommodate their schedules. There will be a scheduled day off during Week 3 to rest before opening.

The production will travel throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan, with performances currently scheduled for:

📍 Oct 15 – Olds — CMHA / Olds College

📍 Oct 29 – Nov 1 – Saskatoon — Mini Fridge Theatre

📍 Nov 6 + 7 – Olds — Bulldogs Saloon

📍 Nov 13 + 14 – Swift Current — Lyric Theatre

📍 Nov 20 + 21 – Wainwright — Theatre 75

📍 Nov 27 – Calgary — Ace Casino Blackfoot

📍 Nov 28 – Elnora — Elnora Society

📍 Dec 4 – 6 – Cochrane — Texas Gate

📍 Jan 9 + 10 – Wetaskiwin — Manluk Theatre

🚨 Please note: This is a touring production, so applicants must be comfortable with regular travel and overnight stays.

🎤 HOW TO AUDITION
If you’re a strong tenor or soprano, love comedy, can sing ABBA, and want to spend the fall getting married approximately 47 times in increasingly disastrous ways… we want to hear from you! 😂💍
