'Beyond the Gates' Star Shows How Season 2 Credits Were Made

Beyond the Gates star Jen Jacob is giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at the making of her Season 2 opening credits moment.

Jacob, who plays Nurse Ashley Morgan on the CBS daytime drama, shared the video on Instagram. Captioning the post, she wrote, “Season 2 Ashley uploading. Don’t worry — still me at the end. 😜 #btg #beyondthegates @beyondthegatescbs”

In the clip, Jacob is seen walking across a soundstage in a red dress in front of a blue screen, offering viewers a glimpse at how the show’s updated opening credits come together.

Ashley has remained a steady presence on Beyond the Gates since its debut. Navigating her relationship with Derek (Ben Gavin) and growing feelings for Andre (Sean Freeman), her storylines in Season 1 helped establish her as a grounded and relatable figure on the series.

Season 2 of Beyond the Gates officially premiered on January 2, 2026, following CBS’ release of a preview teasing major storylines ahead. Among the developments is a potential new romance for Ashley with the introduction of soap opera veteran Jordi Vilasuso.

Vilasuso is well known to daytime audiences for his roles on Guiding Light, All My Children, and Days of Our Lives, making his arrival on Beyond the Gates a notable addition as the series heads into its second season.
