Calgary’s Career Fair returns this May bringing exciting hiring opportunities to the city

8 April 20262 Mins Read

Looking to switch things up in your career? The Calgary Career Fair and Training Expo is returning this May, and it’s a perfect chance to take a closer look at what’s out there. Meet recruiters, ask questions, and explore opportunities you might not find online.

About the event

This is your moment to network with employers and apply to opportunities in real time. Instead of sending out applications and hoping for the best, you get to show up, have real conversations, and put yourself out there.

Between employee exhibitors and training organizations, you’ll be able to explore jobs, learn about different industries, and figure out what steps you might need to take to get there.

Throughout the event, you’ll be able to meet exhibitors such as:

  • Association for Supply Chain Management
  • Calgary Police Service
  • CAPREIT
  • CBI Health
  • Firefly Solar
  • JBS Foods Canada
  • Bow Valley College
  • CDI College
  • CLI College of Business, Health & Technology
  • Reeves College
  • Robertson College
  • Open Door Group
  • Parallèle Alberta
  • The Career Foundation

Plan your visit

The career fair will take place on Thursday, May 14, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the BMO Centre and is completely free to attend. Make sure your resume is up to date and ready to hand out, and prepare a quick introduction so you can confidently chat with recruiters. Dressing in business casual and planning your commute ahead of time will have you showing up looking confident and put together.

No matter where you are in your career journey, this event is all about taking the next step. Learn, connect, and see what jobs are out there. Go in confident, and don’t be afraid to ask questions. You never know where one conversation could lead.

Good luck, Calgary!

When: Thursday, May 14, 2026
Time: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: BMO Centre – 20 Roundup Way SE, Calgary, Alta.
Cost: Free
