Club Med and Central Group Capital have entered into a hotel management agreement for a new resort in Koh Samui, Thailand. The property, part of Club Med’s Exclusive Collection, is scheduled to open in the second half of 2028, with booking details to be released closer to the opening date.
Located a 25-minute drive from Koh Samui Airport, the resort will feature 303 rooms, over 200 meters of private beach, sports and leisure facilities, new dining concepts, and signature Club Med programs such as Kids Club and Amazing Family. The design will be inspired by Thai heritage and the natural surroundings.
This will be Club Med’s first Exclusive Collection resort in Thailand and its second property in the country, following Club Med Phuket, which opened in 1985. The Koh Samui resort will be the third Exclusive Collection property in the East and South Asia Pacific region. Club Med’s Exclusive Collection currently comprises 21 properties, including resorts, villas, chalets, and the Club Med 2 sailing yacht, representing 13% of the company’s global capacity.
