Customer Alliance Launches AI-First Platform, Defining a New Category: Guest Feedback Intelligence

3 August 20264 Mins Read

In Brief: Re-architected to make guest feedback data easier to capture, understand, share and act on, the new AI-first platform brings reputation management, guest surveys and feedback analytics together, helping hotels improve the guest experience and power wider data and AI initiatives.

Customer Alliance, trusted by 5,000+ hospitality businesses, today announced the launch of its new, AI-first platform and the category it is built to define: guest feedback intelligence.

The launch marks a major evolution in how Customer Alliance helps hotels manage and use guest feedback. Reputation management, review collection, review replies, and guest surveys remain core to the platform. What changes is the foundation around them: a new AI-first architecture designed to make guest feedback easier to structure, analyse, connect, and use across hotel teams, systems, and future AI initiatives.

Understand the experience. Decide what to do.

As AI becomes part of daily hospitality operations, the quality and structure of a hotel’s data matters more than ever. AI is only as useful as the context behind it, and the new Customer Alliance platform is designed to give hotels that context, from the people who know the experience best: their guests.

“Guest feedback is nothing new; hotels have always had it. The real question is how AI can transform that feedback into insights, priorities, actions, and measurable improvements. That’s what we mean by guest feedback intelligence: not just collecting reviews and surveys, but making sense of them so hotels know where to focus and what to do next”, said Steffen Schmickler, CEO of Customer Alliance.

What the platform includes

The Customer Alliance platform pairs the everyday feedback workflows hotels already rely on with intelligence that deepens across plans and use cases. At launch, it includes:

  • Reputation management and review collection to centralise guest feedback from key online review portals, with a redesigned Review Inbox to reply directly, schedule replies, and filter by portal, sentiment, language, and reply status.
  • Enhanced AI Reply to help teams respond faster and more consistently, guided by each property’s defined brand voice.
  • A redesigned survey builder with custom questions and conditional sub-questions, targeted audiences, and score-based routing that can direct guests to leave a review on the portals a hotel chooses, with unlimited surveys on plans that include them.
  • AI Insights that group open-text feedback by topic and sentiment, surfacing recurring guest themes, satisfaction trends, and changes in perception, alongside recommended actions teams can act on.
  • Key Driver Analysis that shows which areas of the guest experience most influence overall satisfaction, and where to focus first.
  • A consolidated analytics view that brings trends, sentiment, competitor benchmarks, and survey results together, with filtering by property, source, and metric, and custom reports for teams that need them.
  • A more self-service experience, so hotel teams can manage more of their own setup, from audiences and users to sentiment thresholds, brand voice, and property information, with support available whenever they want it.
  • A dedicated Integrations area and a more connected foundation, letting teams connect review portals, integrate their PMS and CRM, and access API keys for analytics and other use cases across the hotel technology ecosystem.

Together, these updates move Customer Alliance beyond standalone reputation management toward a broader role: helping hotels build a continuous, structured understanding of the guest experience.

“We didn’t just add AI on top of what we had; we rebuilt the entire platform around it,” said Schmickler. “Hotels want their data accessible and ready to work with, and that meant changing the foundation, not just the features.”

The platform is available now to hotels and groups worldwide. See it in action and request a demo on the new Customer Alliance platform page.
