EOS Hospitality has appointed Ellen Kaplan as Senior Vice President of Marketing. In this role, Kaplan will lead the company’s marketing strategy and team, supporting brand growth, portfolio positioning, and corporate communications initiatives across EOS Hospitality and EOS Investors.
Kaplan brings more than a decade of experience in marketing across the restaurant, hospitality, media, and lifestyle sectors. Most recently, she served as Vice President of Marketing for José Andrés Group, overseeing brand, digital, content strategy, public relations, creative, and partnership efforts across the organization’s portfolio of restaurants, media ventures, and consumer products. She reported directly to the CEO and led marketing efforts in markets including Washington, D.C., New York City, Los Angeles, South Florida, Las Vegas, and Chicago.
Previously, Kaplan held senior leadership positions within José Andrés Media, leading content, editorial, video, and social media strategy for restaurants, media ventures, consumer products, and personal brand platforms. She was involved in the launch and promotion of television, streaming, publishing, and live-event initiatives and oversaw audience development and content production. Earlier in her career, she held content strategy positions at Under Armour, leading global content and social media strategy and developing original campaigns.
At EOS Hospitality, Kaplan will oversee the company’s marketing organization and serve as executive sponsor for the community impact program. She will also support corporate marketing and communications efforts for both EOS Hospitality and EOS Investors.
Kaplan currently resides in Washington, D.C., and plans to relocate to New York City to be based in the company’s home office.
