Hilton Grand Vacations Inc. has opened Ka Haku, a Hilton Club, in Waikiki. The property is the company’s 14th resort in Hawaii and its first Hilton Club-branded property in the state.
Ka Haku has 205 studios and one-, two- and three-bedroom suites with ocean, mountain and city views. Amenities include an arrival and departure lounge, fitness center, pool and bar.
The property also includes Waikiki’s first Japanese-style bathhouse, with a communal bath, sauna and cold bath, as well as an owners lounge for Ka Haku owners.
The design incorporates modern architecture and cultural elements inspired by Princess Kaiulani and Hawaii’s natural environment. The development includes energy-efficient building systems, water conservation measures, sustainable site features and environmentally responsible materials.
The opening created nearly 200 full-time hospitality roles, and construction created more than 400 local jobs. Hilton Grand Vacations supports nearly 1,800 jobs statewide.
In coordination with the City and County of Honolulu, Hilton Grand Vacations donated $1 million for revitalization work at Kuhio Beach Park. The contribution funds improvements related to safety, maintenance and use of the public park by residents and visitors.
