How to solve the projector puzzle in Silent Hill Townfall

The projector puzzle in Silent Hill: Townfall consists of two phases; first you should scour floors one to five of the CEG Headquarters for missing projector parts, then you must insert the projector slides in the right order. Try not to get murdered by shrieking zombie assassins while you’re at it.

How to repair the projector in Silent Hill: Townfall

At some point during the “Richard: Another Attempt” mission, Richard reaches the fifth floor of the CEG Headquarters building, where he finds a broken projector inside the Boardroom. His goal is to watch the presentation, which means he must repair the projector.

To repair the projector, Richard needs a new projector lens and projector bulb. Be sure to grab the Level 3 and 4 clearance card before leaving the Boardroom, then head down to the third floor and use the card to enter Public Relations. From there, take the stairs to the Media Department on the fourth floor, where you’ll find the CEG Storeroom Key on the floor in the northwest corner.

Beware that this area, as well as every other part of the CEG HQ during this mission, is home to wraith-like stealth enemies. Keep Richard’s shotgun ready and loaded.

Use the CEG Storeroom Key to open the east office (still in the Media Department) and grab the projector bulb from the “general storage” cabinet. In the same cabinet, grab the CEG checkout sheet, which informs you that the projector lens is in the Finance Department on the third floor. It also contains a door code: 2709.

Return to the third floor and enter the Finance Department through the east door, using door code 2709. The projector lens is in the CFO’s desk, in the northwest corner.

Return to the Boardroom on the fifth floor and watch the cutscene. Unfortunately, a new problem arises; the projector slides are missing. Grab the CEG Maintenance Key from the corpse near the projector, and use it to enter Maintenance on the fifth floor.

Descend the ladders until you reach the second floor, then take the stairs in the southwest to reach the first floor. On the first floor, make your way to the stairs in the southeast, from where you can reach “The Gallery” Meeting Room. Here, collect the presentation slides and go back to the Boardroom on the fifth floor.

How to solve the projector slides puzzle in Silent Hill: Townfall

You didn’t think you were done, did you? To watch the presentation, you must arrange the projector slides in the correct order. The key to solving this projector puzzle is to hold the slides against the light, so you can see what’s on them. Match the six slides with the six discussion points on the screen, then place the slide in the same numbered slot on the projector.

For example, projector slide D shows a picture of a newspaper. Point 1 on the meeting agenda is to discuss recent headlines, so projector slide D belongs in slot 1 on the projector.
