Another Halloween tradition is about to make its much-anticipated comeback in Ontario: the 2026 Halloween Haunt at Canada’s Wonderland.
Like every other year, the country’s largest amusement park is gearing up for five weeks of frightening fun that goes beyond the requisite thrill rides and park-themed food. Think: haunted mazes, sinister scare actors, and immersive experiences that will really test your heart (and maybe even your stomach).
This year’s attraction brings back the classic The Conjuring: Beyond Fear, where guests pretend to be paranormal investigators tasked with locking away “cursed artifacts” before ominous characters take over the realm.
The Macabre Mazes will also welcome guests into haunting corridors filled with scares around every corner. Cornstalkers, Dark Ride, and Demons of the Deep are all fan favourites ready to envelop risk-takers in what the park calls “claustrophobic dread.”

Of course, no experience at the Vaughan-based Halloween attraction is complete without the scare zones, and this year, seven Sinister Scare Zones are ready to force patrons to face bone-chilling terrors in no-man’s-land areas where everything is fair game.
And while this year’s event is shaping up to be the Halloween Haunt that everyone has grown to love, the team is freshening things up with a new live show courtesy of acrobatic performers, The Skeleton Crew, as well as a scare-cam photo opportunity that lets you purchase a glimpse of you engulfed in The Conjuring: Beyond Fear.
Visitors should note that both The Conjuring: Beyond Fear and the Macabre Mazes are not included in the park’s regular admission fee. Guests must purchase the former for an additional $30, while entry to the mazes is included in the separate Halloween Haunt Bundle, which is $55 plus applicable taxes.
And, of course, your admission also includes access to on-site rides.
Although Halloween Haunt is the main attraction, many major rides are still open for guests to enjoy this time of year, including AlpenFury, Behemoth, Mighty Canadian Minebuster, The Bat, Yukon Striker, and more.

With the 2026 Halloween Haunt taking over the park’s grounds, it’s no surprise that Canada’s Wonderland will continue to see an influx of visitors this season, and a new policy might change the way you attend.
With thousands of guests visiting the park for this annual event, parkgoers should be reminded that its Chaperone Policy is officially in place. The policy requires all guests aged 15 or younger to be accompanied by a parent or chaperone over 21 after 4 p.m. daily and helps ensure the safety and security of all visitors.
The policy became a permanent addition to Canada’s Wonderland’s extensive rules and regulations ahead of its opening earlier this year.
Visitors should also keep in mind that no costumes are allowed after 6 p.m., re-entry is not permitted to Halloween Haunt, and all guests must enter the park before 10 p.m. for the experience.
The 2026 Halloween Haunt runs from Sept. 25 to Nov. 1, starting at 6 p.m. daily. Tickets start at $45 plus applicable taxes and fees, and you can buy them directly on the park’s website. Remember, this admission includes access to the park and select Halloween Haunt experiences.
