Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced plans to expand its Essentials portfolio in the Southeastern United States with more than 30 Hyatt Studios, Hyatt Select, Hyatt Place, and Hyatt House hotels representing approximately 4,000 rooms in its executed pipeline.
Hyatt Hotels Corporation has detailed a planned expansion of its Essentials portfolio in the Southeastern United States, with more than 30 Hyatt Studios, Hyatt Select, Hyatt Place, and Hyatt House hotels in development, totaling approximately 4,000 rooms in its executed pipeline. The expansion includes both established brands and newer offerings in primary, secondary, and tertiary markets across the region.
Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and Alabama are among the Southeastern states experiencing increased hotel demand due to population growth, infrastructure investment, and sustained corporate travel. The planned development aims to address this demand by introducing new properties in markets that have not previously had a Hyatt hotel.
The Hyatt Studios brand, positioned as an upper-midscale extended stay offering, is expanding in Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, South Carolina, and Alabama. Hotels in the Southeast pipeline include:
