Certares Real Estate Management LLC and Clearview Hotel Capital LLC have acquired the Hyatt Regency Savannah, a 351-room full-service hotel located along River Street in Savannah, Georgia. The property, which opened in 1981, features 31 suites, more than 40,000 square feet of meeting and event space, multiple food and beverage outlets, and a parking garage with capacity for over 300 cars.
The hotel offers direct access to Savannah’s Historic District, a major leisure destination. The acquisition is part of Certares’ ongoing investment in hospitality assets in markets with strong long-term demand.
This transaction marks Certares’ 17th hotel acquisition since launching its real estate platform in 2021. The firm has acquired more than 4,000 hotel keys in travel destinations across the United States.
Certares and Clearview plan to invest in guestroom and guest-facing improvements at the Hyatt Regency Savannah to enhance its competitive positioning and maintain its status as a destination for a broad range of travelers.
Savannah’s hospitality market has grown, supported by increased leisure travel, expanding group business demand following the Savannah Convention Center expansion, and sustained economic activity tied to the Port of Savannah and regional development.
