It’s officially Memorial Day weekend, and that means you’re either hosting the cookout or attending one. Personally, we’re hoping for the latter. Regardless of how you choose to spend your MDW, though, there’s always the possibility that you’ll end up needing to make a last-minute dash to the grocery store to pick up buns or ketchup and mustard because someone (definitely not you) decided to wait until the day of to make sure they had everything.
In the event that you do find yourself forced to venture out into the wild, wild West of other last-minute shoppers, you might be wondering what Walmart’s Memorial Day hours are. Is Walmart Open on Memorial Day?

Whatever the size of your plans happens to be, if you do find yourself needing to make a last-minute run for hot dogs or baked beans, most Walmart stores will be open on Memorial Day during normal business hours. That means if the function plans haven’t been finalized yet or you’re just playing things by ear, you’ll still have time to grab everything you need to celebrate the holiday. What are Walmart’s Memorial Day Hours?
Although it’s pretty much guaranteed that your nearest Walmart will be open, it’s still a good idea to double-check with your local store to be sure they aren’t planning to close early. For the most part, the big-box retailer is open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., with the exception of the pharmacy and auto center, which will likely operate on reduced hours or be closed entirely.
