Mark Hucek has been named general manager of The Ellie Beach Resort Myrtle Beach, Tapestry by Hilton and DoubleTree Resort Myrtle Beach Oceanfront, a dual-resort property on Springmaid Beach with 452 rooms across 30 acres of oceanfront land.
In this role, Hucek is responsible for day-to-day operations, including guest services, food and beverage operations, team development, and strategic growth initiatives. He will also be involved in expanding the resort’s wellness offerings and family-friendly programming.
Hucek previously served as general manager at Evolution Hospitality in California, where he received the Rookie of the Year Award. He has also held leadership positions with Greenwood Hospitality and has experience in multi-unit sales management.
His responsibilities at The Ellie Beach Resort and DoubleTree Resort Myrtle Beach Oceanfront include overseeing operational performance, team engagement, and guest experience management.
