Minor Hotels will open The WestDill Mayfair Hotel London, Colbert Collection, its first property under the Colbert Collection brand in the United Kingdom, in Q4 this year.
The five-star hotel is located on Piccadilly in central London at the corner of Piccadilly and Albemarle Street. The property will feature 50 guest rooms and suites across six floors, along with a restaurant and bar. The building, formerly the NatWest bank and offices, is being converted into a hotel. Originally designed in 1922-23 by Sir William Curtis Green, the structure is now Grade II listed.
The WestDill Mayfair Hotel London, Colbert Collection, is owned by the Royal Group of Companies Singapore. This project marks the group’s first hotel venture in Europe. The hotel’s location provides access to several London attractions, including Hyde Park, Green Park, Buckingham Palace, Bond Street, Piccadilly Circus, Mayfair, and Knightsbridge. London’s West End and theatre district are nearby, along with various restaurants and nightlife venues. The property is a short walk from Green Park tube station, which offers direct access to Heathrow Airport, and is also close to Victoria Station.
