Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge has an all-new experience coming, and it’s absolutely extraordinary.
Nestled in Jasper National Park is Fairmont’s luxurious lodge, one of Fairmont’s hotels, which will be getting a new experience. Making its debut this July at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge is Foraging Flight: An Indigenous-Led Helicopter and Culinary Journey. Exclusively available for guests at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, this full-day adventure takes you from soil to sky.
This experience was created in partnership with Indigenous Knowledge Keeper Lauren Moberly, part of Fairmont’s fulfillment of its “make special happen” brand. Most specifically, this experience is part of the “Make Special… In the Wild” series.
The other experiences within this series include helicopter tours over the Great Wall of China, a journey through the Mount Kenya Wildlife Conservancy, and so many more possibilities.
What exactly is Foraging Flight?
For this experience, Foraging Flight takes you through a whole day of magical activities.
To start, you begin your journey with a private helicopter flight above the breathtaking Rocky Mountains. While you take in these alpine views, you’re told fascinating stories about the land, cultural heritage, and the animals and plants calling it home.
Following your landing, you will join Moberly for a prepared luxury picnic and foraging experience. This activity is rooted in Indigenous knowledge, storytelling, and our connection to the land. While you gather, you’ll learn more and more about harvesting practices, the local ecology, and the cultural significance of each and every ingredient.
When you finally return to the lodge, their chef will transform your foraged ingredients into a full-on dining experience. It will be designed exclusively for your group, celebrating the season, the tradition, and the flavours of the land.
Not to mention, this is an all-inclusive experience. Not only will you have the time of your life, but you’ll do it in a Luxury Lakefront Suite for two, for two nights, with dedicated support with the lodge’s Personalized Concierge Service, as well as transportation to and from the Hinton airport.
It’s a dream experience, truly. If you’re up for the flight, keep your calendar clear for this summer. You won’t want to miss out on this luxury.
