Picture: Wind Breaker season 2 – CloverWorks
After the first season of Wind Breaker landed on Netflix in March 2026, subscribers will be delighted to learn that the second season of the anime is coming to Netflix on April 2, 2026.
Wind Breaker is a Japanese anime series produced by CloverWorks and an adaptation of Satoru Nii’s manga of the same name. Of the 25 published volumes of Wind Breaker, the first season of the anime adapts roughly 5 volumes (41 chapters), and season 2 adapts up to volume 11 (up to chapter 90/91).
Toshifumi Akai directs the series, with the adaptation written by Hiroshi Seko. The anime is licensed by Aniplex of America, and new episodes are distributed by Crunchyroll.
Haruka Sakura, a recent transfer student, enrolls at Furin High School, which is infamous for its population of brawny brutes who choose to resolve conflicts with their fists. Among the student body is the group Bofurin, which protects the town’s citizens. However, Sakura has one goal in mind: fighting his way to the top.

Will we see Wind Breaker season 3 on Netflix?
At the time of writing, a third season of Wind Breaker has yet to be announced by CloverWorks.
