IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

The bigger your ambitions in one direction the more you will have to cut back on your desires in another direction this year. Everything worth having in life is worth making sacrifices for, so make your choice and then really go for it.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

Venus in your sign gives a rosy glow to your outlook on life but don’t let that blind you to the fact that there are serious issues which need to be dealt with. One such issue could reach crisis point today, so be ready to act quickly.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

You may not be a rebel by nature but you have your moments and at some point today you will reject the status quo and insist that your way of interpreting an event is the only way. Expect a backlash from those who see it another way.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

It will be easy to make an impression on someone in a position of authority today but will it be the right impression? If they get the idea that you will do anything they ask of you they could start making demands that are somewhat uncomfortable.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

Co-operation is the key to success and Venus in the career area of your chart will help you reach out to people who share your ambitions. Together you can accomplish things that might not have been possible had you acted on your own.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

The message of the stars today is that you must not get too attached to material things. If your rivals see that you are being overly possessive of something, they could use that as a lever by threatening to take it away from you.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

It is of the utmost importance that you consult partners and colleagues before making a move that could affect not only your own future but their futures as well. You don’t live in a vacuum, so take other people’s feelings into account.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

If the pressure on the work front is getting too much for you then reach out to someone you trust for assistance. You have done a lot of good things for them in the past and they will be only too happy to return the favour.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

The sun remains in the most creative area of your chart until the 20th, so you still have plenty of time to push ahead with a project that holds so much potential. If you give up on it now you will regret it for years to come.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

It may annoy you that a friend or family member seems to have lost their grip on reality but the planets indicate it is only a passing phase, so let them get on with it. What happens over the weekend should help them see sense.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

Just because words come easy to you at the moment does not mean you can go around preaching on every topic under the sun. Stick to the one or two subjects that you know in depth and use your superior knowledge to help other people.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

Watch what you spend today and over the weekend but don’t let a lack of cash stop you from getting out into the world and having some fun. There are still plenty of things that can be enjoyed for free, such as good conversation.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

If you are serious about doing something useful with your life, and you should be, now is the time to get involved in a cause that is close to your heart. The decisions and actions you take now will have a massively positive knock-on effect.
