We’ve rounded up 10 of the best things to do in and around the city, so you don’t have to doomscroll in search of plans.

Victoria Day marks the official opening of the Historical Village, and there is no better way to kick off the 2026 season than with a classic afternoon tea. Enjoy finger sandwiches, pastries, and tea before wandering the Village as it begins to come to life for spring.

Looking to catch a little pre-season football action? The Calgary Stampeders are set to take on the Saskatchewan Roughriders, giving fans an early taste of CFL energy before the season officially kicks off.
