To help inspire Canadians, the series follows Hwang as she shows what it could look like to use TD Rewards Points across everyday purchases and experiences by bringing points into real-life moments, from essentials to experiences.
It’s all about encouraging Canadians to think differently about their TD Rewards Points with the new Living on Rewards challenge. TD wants Canadians to see how flexible and versatile TD Rewards could be, so they can redeem them for meaningful purchases and experiences.
Where your rewards are going
Of the Canadians who use loyalty programs, 55 per cent report using their points to offset everyday costs, and 65 per cent say they would most likely redeem rewards for groceries.
However, point redemption isn’t without barriers. 37 per cent say their biggest frustration is having to build up a large balance before redeeming anything meaningful, and 18 per cent of Canadians say they’ve redeemed rewards for something they didn’t really want in order to ensure the points didn’t go to waste.
