10 things to do this weekend in Edmonton (June 19-21)

18 June 20265 Mins Read

We’ve got another great weekend ahead of us in Edmonton, and I’ve got the best things to do in the city this weekend to help make it even better.

Whether it’s a festival, a concert, or a market, the days ahead of us are jam-packed with amazing events. No matter what you’re looking to do, you’ll definitely find it here. I don’t want to waste your time any longer, so let’s jump into these upcoming festivities!

With this festival taking over the city, you can come outside and learn to juggle, walk on stilts, and mingle on the patio with artists from around the world. Not to mention, you can see intimate contemporary circus performances that you won’t find anywhere else.

According to the festival, it’s like seeing Cirque du Soleil in your living room.

When: Now until Sunday, June 21, 2026
Time: Various times
Where: Various locations
Cost: Free

Starting tomorrow, June 19, until June 28, jazz is going to be taking over all of Edmonton.

With a dual focus of bringing the world’s greatest jazz musicians to perform in our city and shining the spotlight on Edmonton’s own emerging jazz talent, there’s no question why this festival has continued its run for over 20 years.

When: Friday, June 19, to Sunday, June 28, 2026
Time: Various times
Where: Various locations
Cost: Free

Kick off the summer at Blatchford’s community celebration this June 20th! Come see — and be surprised by — how much Blatchford has grown at this free annual event.

You’ll savour BBQ eats and ice cream treats in Littlewood Park, enjoy live music, face painting, and more – all while getting to know this thriving new urban village. Grab a map and take a self-guided walking tour through the community’s green spaces, pedestrian streets, paths, trails and playgrounds. You can explore showhomes and talk to builders, as well as explore in-community amenities and learn what’s upcoming, including options for buying or renting.

This is a free event, and everyone is welcome – including those four-legged friends who might like to take their paws for a test run in Blatchford’s new “Bark Park.”

When: Saturday, June 20, 2026
Time: Noon to 3:30 p.m.
Where: Littlewood Park in Blachford, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: Free

This summer, these two artists will be collaborating again to go on an insane global tour, the Nights Like This Tour 2026. They will be hitting stops like London, Paris, Atlanta, and most importantly, they will be coming to Edmonton this June. I absolutely can’t wait for this throwback of the century.

When: Friday, Jun. 19, 2026
Time: 8 p.m.
Where: Rogers Place — 10220 104th Ave. NW, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: $211+

This market in Old Strathcona has been around for ages, and it’s Edmonton’s most premier farmers’ market. Being the original year-rounder, this place offers the best locally grown and made goods as well as trinkets you won’t be able to find anywhere else.

When: Every Saturday and Sunday
Time: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sundays
Where: 10310 83rd Ave. NW, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: Free

Queen Mary’s Market is located in the heart of Edmonton and offers over 130 vendors, as well as five individual restaurants within the building. This market takes on strong local vendors with a selection of antiques, rare collectibles, local produce, artisanal goods, and services.

When: Every Saturday and Sunday
Time: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays
Where: 12011 111th Ave. NW, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: Free

Pick up hot single organic fruits, veggies, homemade meals and artisanal goods from over 35 vendors in downtown Edmonton. Not to mention, this market is completely pet-friendly, so don’t worry about bringing your furry friends along.

When: Every Saturday now until Oct. 10, 2026
Time: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Where: 104th Street, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: Free

From June until September, the downtown streets will be bursting with electric energy, all in the name of community. Live music, patio vibes, and local businesses are what this Summer Block Party series is all about. You won’t want to miss out on these Saturdays, because it’s going to be a blast, for sure.

When: Saturday, June 20, 2026
Time: 3 to 8 p.m.
Where: Rice Howard Way Entertainment District, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: Free

This is Edmonton’s largest and longest-standing outdoor market, offering over 200 vendors and a wonderful variety of handmade goods and locally produced treats. It’s a great community-driven market that’s perfect for those looking to get closer to bakers, chefs, artisans, and more.

When: Every Sunday until Oct. 11, 2026
Time: 10 a.m to 3 p.m.
Where: 6655 178th St. NW, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: Free

Grand Market Edmonton was established in 2012, and now it’s grown into something even bigger than we could’ve ever imagined. If you’re looking for the greatest market to visit on weekdays after work, you might have just found it.

There’s a market from Grand Markets on Thursdays as well, but this is a great way to start off the week.

When: Every Sunday now until Oct. 11, 2026
Time: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Where: 102nd Avenue and 124th Street, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: Free
