‘Heated Rivalry’ star Hudson Williams causes literal meltdown at this Italian restaurant in Toronto, Canada Reviews

Heated Rivalry star Hudson Williams is officially the man of the hour in the Canadian entertainment landscape. At the Canadian Screen Awards on Sunday, May 31, the hockey drama dominated the night, walking away with a record-setting 16 wins.

Among the night’s biggest accolades, the B.C.-born actor took home the award for Best Lead Performer, Drama Series for his role as the reserved hockey player Shane Hollander, alongside the fan-voted Audience Choice award, while the show itself secured Best Drama Series.

Following the historic sweep, Williams was spotted visiting Stelvio, a high-end Italian restaurant on Dundas West, known for its authentic, hyper-regional Lombardy cuisine.

Stelvio — run by General Manager Anna Erba — is known for bringing traditional, indigenous Milanese flavours to the city, such as their signature Risotto with Ossobuco. However, the atmosphere turned decidedly contemporary this week when the award-winning actor dropped in.

Today, Stelvio took to Instagram to share a photo of Williams posing alongside two members of the restaurant’s team. The restaurant accompanied the photo with a playful nod to the actor’s hit show.

“Guys we have a confession! We had some serious Heated Rivalry at Stelvio last night and had to call @hudsonwilliamsofficial himself to cool everyone down, the caption reads. “See what we did there 😏 In all seriousness, thanks for popping in and next time we’ll host a Hudson vs. Cotoletta match. Let’s see how that rivalry goes 😁”

The buzz isn’t slowing down anytime soon. Production on the highly anticipated second season is set to begin this August, with the story picking up from Rachel Reid’s bestselling sequel novel, The Long Game. To help fans through the wait until the show’s return in April 2027, showrunner Jacob Tierney has also announced a behind-the-scenes companion book, I’ll Believe in Anything, due out this October.
