The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has issued a recall notice for SunFed Produce whole fresh American cucumbers. The cucumbers are packaged in bulk cardboard containers labelled with “SunFed,” in generic white boxes, or in black plastic crates with a sticker with the implicated grower’s name “Agrotato, S.A. de C.V.” According to a press release from SunFed, the recalled cucumbers were sold between October 12 and November 26, 2024, and shipped to several Canadian provinces, including Ontario, Alberta, BC, and Saskatchewan.
