Equinox Hotels has announced that the third annual Global Sleep Symposium will take place on June 4 at Equinox Hotel New York.
The event will feature a keynote address by Dr. Matthew Walker, who will discuss the impact of sleep on decision-making, creativity, cognitive resilience, and restorative rest. An interdisciplinary panel will follow, including Dr. Eric Potterat, a high performance and clinical psychologist with experience working with the U.S. Navy SEALs, U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Red Bull Athletes; Dr. Kirk Parsley, an MD, member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, and retired Navy SEAL; and Dr. Emily Morse, who holds a doctorate in human sexuality and hosts the Sex With Emily podcast.
The symposium will use a salon-style format, replacing a traditional conference structure. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage directly with speakers in conversation. The event will conclude with an immersive sound session led by Johnny Venus, a Grammy-nominated artist and member of EarthGang, based on principles of music psychology using live music, rhythm, and resonance.
Tickets for the event are available for $200 through the Equinox Hotels website.
